Route 545 (Garden City - Grand Plaza)

I took the 545 home today after dropping my car at a mechanic not too far from where I live.  Talk about going from A to B via X, Y and Z.  I thought 545 was supposed to be a trunk route, but for some reason it needs to go via some back streets of Woodridge, around the block 1.5x to get into Woodridge Station, then along Wembley Rd service road to get into Logan Central Plaza.

It should just go down Kingston Rd, Kingston Station is fairly close to the road for people that want to change to train, and there are local (552/553/554/558) buses that connect the local sburbs to Woodridge Station & Logan Central Plaza.

Yes, but looking at Google Earth, there is nowhere for the bus to stop near the station.

That could explain the Woodridge station/Wembley Rd bit.

Hmmm, good point, but even going into Kingston Station itself via Jacaranda Ave/Milky Way would be quicker than the current route.

Possibly, but that does mean it doesn't serve Logan Central Plaza.
