Queensland Rail has stepped up the usage of social media this year, with Facebook and Twitter a key part of customer and stakeholder engagement.

Social media was an important part of Queensland Rail's public engagement ahead of and during the launch of a new timetable (the largest overhaul in 15 years) in June.

For Queensland Rail - social media is a two-way conversation, deepening the relationship with customers and the community and providing real time feedback from the people who matter.
