Hello All,
I would like to compile a list of positives from the great St Patricks Day Train Boycott ... I'll start the ball rolling.

1.
Hon. Annastacia Palaszcuk MP, Member for Inala, has given a firm commitment to review 6 and 12 month season tickets.
2.
Committee to be formed to discuss the issues.
3.
Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast representatives to be included in Community Reference Group type meetings for a voice.

Note:
Unsure if points 2 and 3 are the same or are different meetings altogether.
Other issues identified by the protest for discussion were:
A.
Off peak fares for train passengers boarding before 7:00am.
B.
Introduce a rolling discount which accumulates over weeks and months, as part of the go card.
C.
The current fare increases are too high, i.e. 15% per annum until 2014.

Regards,
Fares_Fair.

If you get your annual tickets back you can't have the discount for before 7am, at least not on the same ticket.  Besides, boarding at 6:59am at Elimbah = peak.  Ideally it should be based on touch off time, then it is fairer for all.  If that is not possible, then probably 6:30am is a reasonable compromise.
