Transperth has a useful calendar showing the planned upgrades to the Transperth train network, appropriately line colour coded with linked information boxes.

Could be a useful addition to the TL web site?

Cityrail has a pretty similar thing, as does metro giving at least 2 weeks notice of trackwork.  CityRail give advance notice that trackwork is being considered in the next 6 monts if you go looking for it on their website, and you can also subscribe to email alerts.  2 weeks out trackwork is confirmed.
