Inner Brisbane is the one part of SEQ where it is actually economic to clamp down on this stuff - that and on the trams. Given there are only 18 trams currently in service and usually no more than 14 in traffic outside major events, it is pretty easy to police things, and the Burleigh extension and 5 new trams sitting in the yard won't change that much.

^ inspectors are very active on trams. I reckon I'd encounter one on roughly 50% of trips.

I'm sure some GC bus routes could viably have SNOs, too. 700, 704, and 765 seem like they'd have enough patronage to make it worthwhile.

After a lull during the Christmas period, the Clarks Transit Officers have been back on the network again. They've checked buses I've been on several times over the last few weeks.

Kinetic Transit Officers has been pretty active across both the Sunshine and Gold Coasts since the start of this year.  They generally travel in packs of 2s but congregate in large groups at the hubs such as Sunshine Plaza, Kawana, Pacific Fair, GCUH Interchange, etc.

^ they need to visit Helensvale. Almost every bus I catch to/from there has 50%+ fare evaders.
