Richlands station

Richlands train station is open one week early, to assist flood recovery efforts in Brisbane's western suburbs.

A train shuttle service will operate between 18 and 21 January.
Services - Tuesday 18 January

Due to flood damage on the Ipswich line, a regular weekday timetable will operate between Darra and Brisbane' CBD stations only. A train shuttle service will operate between Richlands and Darra stations with customers transferring at Darra station.

   * Morning peak services will operate every 15 minute inbound from Richland between 5.40am and 8.55am.
   * Off-peak train services will operate every 30 minutes from 8.55am to 2.55pm (inbound from Richlands) and 8.42am to 2.42pm (outbound from Darra to Richlands).
   * Afternoon peak train services will operate every 15 minutes outbound from Darra to Richlands from 2.42pm to 5.57pm.

Hourly bus services on new routes 465 and 466 will operate during this period.

   * Route 465 (Heathwood to Richlands)
   * Route 466 (Willawong to Richlands)

Existing routes 460 (Forest Lake to City) and P461 (Forest Lake to City) will continue as normal and will stop at the on road bus stops located at 'Progress Corner', on Garden Road, approximately 200 metres walk from the station.

Existing route 462 (Darra to Forest Lake) will continue to run to Darra dtation. There are currently no changes to the route or the timetable.

Local residents should make use of the station, where it is safe to do so, by driving and parking at the station or taking local bus services. Please check later for details on local bus services.

The station has 650 car parks to provide access to the TransLink network.

Services between Darra and Richlands will revert to their original timetable as of 24 January 2011.
