Clearly, the scheme isn't going as well as the Dublin one, run by the same operator with the same bikes and other infrastructure and similar method of subscribing, but with 100 fold better take up. The differences seem to be helmets, prices a bit lower and possibly a less aggressive road environment. I suspect the last is most important in restricting take-up here and in Melbourne.
