QuoteMy thinking was that the 111 operates like an all stops to the Logan Hyperdome.  The 555 is just an express to Garden City/Eight Mile Plains but both BUZ.   Similar to express and all station trains on any train line. We need to start treating the busway as another transit route like a train line.  Maybe even go as far as calling it the Logonholme BUZ with no number. Loganholme BUZ stoping all stops and aLoganholme BUZ running express from Cultural Centre to Garden City (as an example).

I can understand the thinking here.
I think it is only worthwhile if the entire route was grade separated or made exclusive lane. Like somebody said- delays and reliability.

I can see what you are getting at. The train system will be split into a 2-tier express system and urbanlink all stops system and you seem to want to apply that idea to the bus system. It has some merit as the distances covered by the bus system are actually very large.

Negative people... have a problem for every solution. Posts are commentary and are not necessarily endorsed by RAIL Back on Track or its members.

Yes grade separattion/bus lane is assumed.

Some parts of the bus network already follow such a model; namely the 111/160 vs 130/140/150, and 333 vs 330/340.
