This time last week we were discussing access to passenger pick up and drop off zones at the Brisbane aiport and the liklihood of the Airport Corporation introducing a fee to do that (it says it's not!). The topic of public transport options also came up and spokeperson Rebecca McCononchie said there is a free shuttle bus from Airport Village to the Terminals.

That comment by Ms McConochie prompted a response from Barry - whose full comment you can read on the all-day Breakfast blog - but here's an excerpt:

I suggest you send a reporter to see if they can take a TransLink bus from Toombul to the shopping area at DFO and then get a shuttle from there to the international or domestic terminals. This is impossible, despite what the BAC lady said to you on-air. Complete nonsense.
