I had meant to post this earlier.

In my excitement  with the opening of platform 3 Darra I managed to leave my camera on EMU 30 at Roma St when I detrained.

I realised that I had left it and mentioned to the QR Passenger staff and TOs at the main exit.  A quick response by QRP staff member 'Max'
with a phone call alerted staff ahead.

I was subsequently phoned by Max that my camera had been located and was available for collection at Bowen Hills station later that day, or if unable to pick it up would be forwarded to lost property where I could pick it up from there.

Excellent example of customer service.

Thanks for the safe return of the camera QRP!

I had a similar thing happen to me last year. Was waiting for my train at central, and was looking through my camera. Hopped on my train and got all the way to Ferny Grove before realising I had left my camera case on the bench at central when I was waiting there. Talked to the people at Ferny, who called Central who sent someone down, and found the case. I was told that they could send it out on the next train leaving Central for Ferny, and the staff at Ferny would keep it there until I could come and get it. Really good customer service on the lost property front!
There is no silver bullet... but there is silver buckshot.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
