Things Tranlink has released from RTI applications. If I understand what they mean by the term "swap-out" then we finally have some figures for the number of go-card readers that have had to be replaced. On buses the grand total since Jan 2008 to March 22 2010 is 9875 readers and for train station readers the total over the same period is 5197. Theres more up there but thats something that drew my attention.
There is no silver bullet... but there is silver buckshot.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The amount of paper is truly phenomenal!  :o
Some interesting things in there- 15 minute off peak modeling by Systemwide and also Doomben line.

Unless the services on the Doomben line is extended to Portside, I can't really see why a train with the capacity of 500 pax or 1000 pax should be tied up serving 19 pax.
Negative people... have a problem for every solution. Posts are commentary and are not necessarily endorsed by RAIL Back on Track or its members.

The 15 min frequency modelling would be to do to cope with the increase of population in the Australia Trade Coast area, hence the Aust Trade Coast PT Study.
