National Transport Commission (NTC) Report due December 2011

Hello All,
Found this information while doing some background research on rail transport.

It's the Smart Transport for a Growing Nation project.

It'll be interesting to see it when it is released at the end of this year (due December 2011).
Particularly regarding separation of road and rail freight.

Also stumbled across this submission by the National Transport Commission (NTC) dated 26 February 2009, by Senator Glenn Sterle.
He is (was?) the Chairman for the Senate Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport Committee.
It's about a Senate inquiry into the investment of Commonwealth and State Funds in public passenger transport infrastructure and services.
