I had the misfortune of encountering them out the front of QUT on Monday.

Great for students but what about pensioners, where are their free Go cards with the promised $10 preload.

I'll be encountering them again tomorrow for my full orientation day.  The line up at the mini orientation I had at the other campus (I'll be there one day a week), was very long.  The uni staff did do a good job at helping the students though from what I saw.

If they were there at UQ on Wednesday - Orientation Day - they weren't very prominent.  I certainly didn't see them there - though I DID see one organisation that was offering a free week's parking to students in return for signing up.  Sigh.

Same i was looking everywhere for them. There were a few translink people at UQ lakes though. Which also really needs a ticket machine. Boarded the 109 yesterday the first 20 people were on in a minute then it took 5 min for 5 people to buy paper.

I wonder if you have to take the free week at once or if you get seven free days to use indescriminately. It could be handy if you ever have to attend out of hours :P
