Public Transport Alert: Coronation Drive bus routes to resume normal service next week 2/12/2009

Brisbane City Council advises that the temporary bus service route 400, which was introduced to minimise delays to bus passengers during works on Coronation Drive, will cease operation on Monday December 7, 2009 and all services will return to normal.

The services that will return to normal will be routes 425, 430, 433, 435, 444, 445, 453, 454 and 460.

Inbound passengers will no longer need to change to a shuttle bus at Indooroopilly Interchange.

Outbound buses will depart Queen Street Bus Station, King George Square, Adelaide Street, Wharf Street and the Cultural Centre as per the normal timetable. The outbound 400 shuttle bus will no longer run from King George Square to Indooroopilly Interchange.

The temporary route 400 was introduced to minimise delays to bus passengers during works on Coronation Drive for the Go-Between Bridge.

Delays have been minimal and these temporary bus changes are no longer necessary.

Brisbane City Council thanks passengers for their patience.
