Belair line upgrade and renewal
The upgrade of the Belair line is nearing completion with train services to resume on Sunday 23 August 2009.  Services will run to the existing Belair line train timetable - see www.adelaidemetro.com.au for further details.

The local community is advised to be aware of passenger trains operating on the new Belair line during the day and / or night from 13 August for testing and commissioning of the new track and some driver training.

Train passengers are advised some upgrade works will continue at the Blackwood, Coromandel and Eden Hills stations after the Belair line reopens - these works will not have any impact on passenger train services.  There will be changes to pedestrian arrangements and some changes to car parking while these works are underway.

The Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure sincerely thanks local residents and commuters for their patience and cooperation while construction of this important infrastructure upgrade has been underway.
