Received a letter in the post today saying the new brand for E toll (as part of freeflow tolling from 1 July) will be Go Via.

So whether it's bus, train, ferry or cars, it's all "Go".

That is rather interesting considering Visas advertising approach is the payment method most people GO with.

Being about the third most common verb (after be and do), I don't see how they can really protect it though. One of my friends reckons they should rename Go card, Platypus or something like that... a bit of a take off London's Oyster card and Hong Kong's Octopus!

Also since Platypus is Latin for 'flat foot', maybe not ::)

How about Sardine?

I think it should be called Sloth.

Or to make it more Australian, Koala Card.  (They sleep for 22 hours of the day.)  Just to be clever, you could replace the 'C' on Card with a 'K'..... Koala Kard.

You could call it Kangaroo Card... it's been a bit of a bumpy ride!!

Not Australian, but you could call it a Dung Beetle Card.  Have you seen them push the proverbial up a hill!!
