"GoCard facilities on Platform 10 at Roma St Train Station

Are there GoCard facilities to touch on/off on Platform 10 at Roma St train station?

On Tuesday 24/03/2009 I caught the Roma St train from Morayfield which is timetabled at 8.10am and arrive at Roma St at 9.09am and this train setdown passengers on platform 10 instead platform 8 which my travelling companion told me this happens quite regularly (this is not the issue as I understand that it happens because of line congestion etc).  I was travelling in the rear carriage and took the lift down to the subway, I asked my friend where we had to touch off?  My thinking was that we would have to touch on again to enter the main station area as we would need to touch off again as we exit the other side or at our destination station if we had to change services.  My friend replied that we had to show our GoCards to the barrier attendant as we entered the station as there appeared to be no facilities on Platform 10.  We did just that and were let in unchallenged as it was obvious that station staff are aware of this predicament.

On Platform 2 (which is also outside the main station area, just like Platform 10) I know there are GoCard readers (stands that are found at suburban stations) at the top of the access stairs that are operating (the screen says Roma St, just like the ones at Morayfield say Morayfield)."

Good point.  The go card reader on platform 2 is for go card rail users should they arrive at the platform, and platform 2 being outside the go card gate cordon.  Similar situation on platform 10.  If there is no reader on ten, go card users should show their card, go past the gate, and then touch off as if they arrived at one of the platforms within the cordon, or if continuing by rail not touch at all at the gates.

If platform 10 is going to used regularly for Citytrain then go card reader is needed, and/or clear directions for users.

Today my train went to Platform 10 again and the staff at the Go gates were telling passengers to 'swip off at the other end' as they went through.

Have heard talk from a friend who works at spring hill that there's signage near the far side gates, can anyone confirm?
