Melbourne feels the pain of failed privatisation of suburban rail system

The Herald Sun has published a special report 'Rail system daily ordeal for 300,000'

Melbourne and the State of Victoria had one of the worlds best railway systems once - the VR.

Privatisation and neglect have seen problems magnified to such an extent that it will be years before any real relief for many.  Some things are starting to be addressed but a lot more to do.
