Wynnum station - new toilet never been used?

One of our members has commented on not being able to use the toilet at Wynnum station.

This station used to be staffed until a fire destroyed the ticket office and waiting room and toilets about two years ago.

It was left in it's burnt out state for nearly a year - hence NO TOILET facilities for all that time.

When it was finally rebuilt a state of the art automatic self cleansing toilet was included.

But since structure was completed many months ago - the station is unstaffed and the new toilets that would have cost many thousands of dollars are out of bounds to passengers.

This is a common problem throughout the Citytrain network.

Any comments?

According to the Citytrain web site http://www.citytrain.com.au/stations/station_details/wynnum.asp

QuoteStation office is staffed: Monday - Friday: 5.20am - 9.20am

Does anyone know if they open the toilets during that time?  Maybe they need some local people to be toilet monitors.  Eg. open and lock them at a certain time ....
