Shuttle buses running from Corinda.  It would have been a good opportunity to run a 3 car EMU/SMU shuttle between Corinda, Tennyson and Yeerongpilly.  The re-birth of the Tennyson-Lander!  :)

At times the road congestion between Corinda and Tennyson will be significant.

I guess a much needed upgrade of Tennyson station and a shuttle service on the line during events didn't figure in the brains trust thinking
responsible for this.Once again we have to PACK THEM ALL ON BUSES when a perfectly good rail track sits right next to the complex!! Wonder what the local residents will be thinking come event days when the roads in the area become clogged with buses and cars.
Another masterstroke.

There is a walk way being constructed for pedestrian access from Yeerongpilly, but still it would have been very handy especially from Corinda to have a train shuttle.  Another factor is the projected numbers, I think the centre sits around 5500 so it is not perhaps as critical as it might otherwise seem.

Dropping people right at the centre would be the go, a special event platform could be constructed right next to the centre where the sidings are.  Maybe might happen one day.

Cheers
Bob
