Interesting pilot trial but I also think it's technology overkill.

Just copy Brisbane.

For the record, that bus route currently runs every 7.5 minutes all days and feeds into a 15 minute frequent rail line.

I'm curious about whether the PTA actually has anything to do with this.  My guess would be that they don't, and at best it will be one trial vehicle running a limited free service paid for by the LGA, which will end up going nowhere.
