Train was on time, ride was smooth, speaker announcements were accurate, friendly, timely and informative including telling commuters where the platform was in relation to the direction of travel. Job well done and a standard to be promoted across the network.

Ive noticed this is increasing with the Crews nearly all of them now say which side the platform is on on the cleveland line and yeterday we were stopped at wynnum for a couple of minutes adn after 1 minute the guard told us the problem and when we would be leaving.

A lot of the Caboolture and Nambour crews regularly go to the trouble of announcing the platforms for a while now.  "Platform on the left hand side in the direction of travel".

I've even noticed some of the crews even announce the platforms for their connecting service.  "The next station is Northgate, any passengers for the Shorncliffe line, Please change here and make your way across to Platform 2".

Management changes, better training and new trains are all contributing to more motivated crews, it all takes time but change is creeping in.

Yes the people who are doing the runs seems to be motivated.Same with park road. passengers for the beenleigh line please cahnge at park road and make yuor way to platform 1.Shame that amost all of these updaters [always tell you about dellays.platforms etc] seem to always be on the very very ol grey door emus.
