Outer Doomben line patronage FY 12/13 to 18/19 (Clayfield to Doomben)

Interesting. Doomben has gone up in waves (presumably development linked) but the other stations have grown fairly steadily and at a very similar overall rate.

Doomben is the only suburban line that has positive patronage growth for each of the past 6 financial years ...

Has potential

Bear in mind it didn't even run half-hourly until quite recently.

Possibility:
- Duplicate the line (whether or not extending beyond Doomben)
- Run all trains as 3-car services terminating at a dedicated 3-car length platform built under Morrison Road clear of the subs.  This would minimise costs, prevent unnecessary duplication (leaving room to add more Shorncliffe services and leveraging the capacity available on most Airport trains) and prevent flat crosses.
