I think its next meal will be the 340buz

I'd have a guess and say at least 1/2 the 340's patronage is south of RBWH with easily another 1/4 between here and Chermside. Nothing an increase in the frequency of the 333 couldn't handle.

150 and 130 consistently good performers, 150 used to be my regular route to school/uni/tafe etc.

I think in the future something will need to be done for bus ROW priority down Mains road, and maybe Warrigal road as well. The teeny tiny busway between Bleasby Road and Logan road did wonders to improve reliability there. Removal of Warrigal/Beenleigh road LX would help a lot as well. Bus slip lane at intersection of Mains/Kessels helps too. A few more measures along those stretches could go a long way.

Inbound, I make it as 46K or so boardings in April of this year (probably a slightly below average month), of which about 18K boardings are from stops north of Chermside. That's about 40%. From RBWH south I make it as 12K boardings, for 29%. Certainly though a much higher proportion of alightings occur from RBWH south.

And outbound the importance of the city segment becomes clear. 57K boardings (PM Buzes do much better than AM) and 44K of those from RBWH and south (6K of that from Wgabba).. That's more than three-quarters!

The Blue CityGlider is doing pretty well this past FY with a 6.8% increase in patronage. All those apartments around West End & Newstead really starting to make this route pretty busy.

Look at the 385 slide though - has never really recovered since the initial introduction of the MaroonGlider. The 61 is probably picking up a lot of patronage off all that apartment growth around Buranda, Logan Road & Stones Corner like the 60. Visibility would also help though - compare this with the odd & inconsistent timetabling of the all-stops Logan Rd services.
