Something needs to be done with the 541.....too short and needs a bit more responsibility...

I was going to say merge it with the 547 to create a single link to woodridge station...bumping it up to 44 mins but then it got me thinking about the other direction.....perhaps instead have it take some heat off the 522 which we know is somewhat of a safari route.

So what about having the 541 taking some strain off the 522 by extending it from boronia heights via some paddocks yes(greenbank/springfield arterial) and servicing a chunk of eastern springfield and finishing up at the station??
This also reduces the need for people from boronia heights to drive to springfield central station and clog up the park and ride.

I also wonder if having some earlier/more frequent 540s in the morning might help with the traffic congestion on the Mt Lindesay Hwy?

Edit: Also I wonder if having it stop at Greenbank RSL for connection with the P142 might be a good idea?

^ Definitely doable...bit of messing around on the outbound run....but should only add around 5 mins to the trip....side benefit on top of the rockets access is it should reduce some dependency on the rsl park and ride.

Something else that needs attention for this region.....i don't know why translink still refuse to service the pub lane shopping area....at the very minimum extend the 541 there.
Its a fairly busy shopping center with a woolies, tavern etc....this would be very helpful for local workers.
