Disappointing the 385 isn't in the 1 million club anymore. As with most places in Brisbane, a lack of network revision is holding back so much potential. As Keppera/The Gap/Ashgrove/Bardon etc. are so close to the City, people will choose the bus over the car. This has been shown in this area over the years but people have started to transition back to cars. Upper Kedron/Keppera also deserve more than what the 362/367 provide (especially the area around the Great Western Centre).

Also interesting that the 200 is down over 5% but the 222 up almost 3%. Would that have something to do with bunching and having the 222 show up a few mins before the 200 (see here: https://jp.translink.com.au/plan-your-journey/stops/002556/timetable/2018-10-13?dateRedirect=False. 222 due around 4 mins before 200) or are people making a conscious effort to catch the 222? Either way, they need to be combined.

Notice how the 200 (+222) and the 385 are both duplicated by the Maroon CityGlider. The 375 also appears to have suffered. No Nobel prize on offer for whoever can figure out what is going on here - the 61 is cannibalising patronage along this corridor.

Now Campbell Newman is gone and the MaroonGlider is no longer required for pork barrelling, a proper network re-work should provide a BUZ service along Waterworks Road. Whether this is via a 380/381 combo, or a dedicated BUZ running along one of those routes.
Is it really that hard to run frequent, reliable public transport?

The 174/175 combo smashes the 230/235 and 381/380 combos on patronage numbers...
Should be looked at as the next buz.....then you can look at removing the 204 from stones corner and sending it via deshon st....then there would be no reason to keep the 200...

#Metro

I'd combine 174/175 and send it into the busway at Buranda portal. Maroon CityGlider can handle the northern portion of Logan Road.
Negative people... have a problem for every solution. Posts are commentary and are not necessarily endorsed by RAIL Back on Track or its members.

It also has a helluva lot more services than the 230/235. Give the Balmoral/Bulimba area a decent service and watch patronage grow.

^ the savings from the 200 cut + 174/175/204 rework can be sent to bulimba......a fair and equitable solution.

I don't think the 200 should be cut. Instead I think it should be rerouted via Winstanley St/Chatsworth Rd to give that area a decent service.

techblitz

send the 204 down chatsworth rd then.....its already at a decent enough frequency....rework the 203/202....done
