How wrong can you be? But at that time most visions of the future involved space travel, just like the cartoon The Jetsons. The closure of that rail line, plus the rapid rise in car ownership and car-dependent suburbia have created a city of more than half a million residents with hardly any public transport users. The sooner the new line reaches Coolangatta again the better.
