Sunshine Coast Daily --> Free buses to Mooloolaba for New Year's Eve

QuoteWANTING to celebrate the end of 2017 in Mooloolaba but not sure how to get there without any hassles?

Well the good news is you can leave the car at home and jump on a free bus.

Translink bus services will run to and from Mooloolaba from 3pm right up until the celebrations are finished while Sunshine Coast Regional Council will provide free shuttle services to and from the University of the Sunshine Coast, departing every 30 minutes from 5pm-8pm and back to USC again from 8.45pm.

There will be free shuttle services home from the Mooloolaba celebrations to Kawana Shoppingworld, University of the Sunshine Coast or Maroochydore Bus Station from 8.45pm, with all shuttle services terminating at 2am.

Intoxicated people or anyone carrying of alcohol will not be permitted on board buses.

Don't forget New Year's Eve Mooloolaba is a drug, alcohol and glass free event and intoxicated people will not be permitted entry.

For information on the Translink services go to https://translink.com.au/plan-your-journey/event-transport/8866.

The celebrations at Mooloolaba are only one of a number of New Year's celebrations planned across the Sunshine Coast, with others at Kings Beach, Caloundra and Coolum Beach.
Half baked projects, have long term consequences ...

QuoteThere is currently no printer friendly timetable for this route.

infact if you key any sunshine coast bus  route in it says the same  :steam:

translink have known full well since yesterday or maybe earlier that there is an error with NYE journey planner.
Obviously powerless to update the page as there are no qualified staff to update the system. They are not even bothering with an official notice to let any future confused passengers know of the hiccup.......how hard is it for the social media staff to post something official??
