This is interesting, first time anyone from the LCC has ever shown interest in public transport.  Usually all you hear from them is about how congested the M1 is.

While PT improvements are greatly needed, I just hope whoever wins tomorrow doesn't come from the BCC school of bus improvements.

At its bones, the Logan bus network is fairly good – decent coverage of areas (north of the Logan River at least – Beenleigh and surrounds need work), good interchange locations and good connections with train services (usually no more than a 10 minute wait between bus and train), and I'd be at pains to tell the electoral candidates this. What we need is better frequency on certain routes, longer span of hours on many cross town routes and a reworking of routes in the Beenleigh–Holmview-Waterford corridor to better cater for the emerging, currently unserviced areas.
