Comment Below on any improvements which could be made

Nice. I'll let others comment on it as Redlands is outside my area.

Also, a unrelated thing, you might want to change your username to something other than your e-mail, or you might get quite a bit of spam from spambots.  :is-

I've lived in the Redlands since 1989, so am happy to comment here.

First I wouldn't really be touching routes 252, 253 and 254 and trying to combine it all into one route.  Old route 8 in pre-TL days was basically that and it was an absolute pain in the neck to catch, taking up to 40mins just to go from Wellington Point to Capalaba for example (it now takes 20mins - I catch route 254 all the time, my local route), which is why they split old route 8 into 3 separate distinct routes (which each have their own market), not only for legibility but also to shorten the trip time for the majority of people.  The only thing I'd do is try and create a better link for routes 253 and 254 or 255 at Birkdale Fair and time route 253 to link up with route 254 or 255 to enable Birkdale residents to access Wellington Point if they so wish to (which admittedly is a bit tricky to do as these routes are tied into the rail timetable).

Also your 254 goes along Collingwood Road, cutting off any travel for those folks going to Capalaba, which is actually quite a few people who currently use route 253, so I probably wouldn't recommend that.

Same with your route 274, there is actually quite a few people wanting to access Victoria Point along that route, with Victoria Point being the main entertainment area (pubs, cinemas, restaurants etc) for the Redlands, it also allows access to routes to Redland Bay and Victoria Point, so I wouldn't recommend cutting off route 274 (it's actually a long standing route that existed in the pre-TL days with the only difference that it ran into the city pre-TL days, so the patronage and travel patterns is well established along that route).  Cleveland is really just a local government area with the council, some shops and rail (really is under-developed IMHO, which I know the council has admitted in the past that they haven't built up Cleveland as well as Capalaba and Victoria Point).

Also, with your 262, again, you are cutting off a key location aka Capalaba, which is basically the CBD of the Redlands, also they got rid of the old Mt Gravatt route that ran along Ford and Avalon Rds for a reason back in 2005 (it had very little patronage - it's basically all bushland and acreage), so I wouldn't recommend this route.

Again the 280, you've cut off Redland Bay, route 280 was designed to create a quicker alternative route for Redland Bay residents to the city (via route 280 and the busway), so I wouldn't recommend altering that other than perhaps taking off the dogleg at the southern portion of the route where it ducks into some back streets, it also provides a key link to the Bay Islands ferry service, supplementing route 250.

The only real changes I'd do if I had access to the network, is boost route 250 to run every 15mins Monday to Friday until say 9pm and terminating at Carindale full time, also boost route 250 to run every 30mins Saturdays and Sundays from first till last service.  And boosting route 280 to run every 30mins between Griffith Uni and Redland Bay. Ditto with route 270, every 30mins from first service to last service linking in with the ferry timetable at Victoria Point Jetty (with perhaps truncation at Capalaba if route 250 is upgraded to run every 15mins).  And separating route 260 and 262 into two distinct routes each running hourly (creating a 30min frequency) between Capalaba Park and Ride and Griffith Uni Nathan Campus (doesn't really need to go to QE II Hospital now there is surplus routes including 120 BUZ running between Griffith Uni Nathan and QE II Hospital).  Route 262 could perhaps run via Mt Gravatt-Capalaba Rd and route 260 via Gardner Rd.

Can I ask what your rationale for your network is?  As to me as someone who has lived in the area for 25 years, it really lacks an understanding of trip patterns and why the network is setup the way it is.
