Story Bridge 75 travel options

Public transport

There will be no on-street parking north or south of the bridge. Attendees are strongly encouraged to use public transport to get to and from the event.

Free public transport available on the day between 5am to 8pm when presenting your ticket or lanyard on all Brisbane Transport or Queensland Rail City Network services. Free shuttle buses will also be available to get you to and from the event safely.

Disruptions to some normal bus services will occur as a result of Story Bridge 75, with some services being suspended for the day. Check the Translink website for up-to-date information on affected services.

Details on public transport options can be found below. Refer to the Translink website for more information and to plan your trip.
Free shuttle buses

High frequency bus shuttles will operate from 9am throughout the day until one hour after the event concludes. Please note this free shuttle will not be operating for the early bird session.
Free buses will be available to and from the following locations:

    Eight Mile Plains Busway Station (all stations along the busway to Buranda and then via Woolloongabba bus station)
    Carindale Interchange H (Old Cleveland Rd then stops along the busway from Langlands Park to Woolloongabba bus station)
    Chermside Interchange D (Gympie Road then all stations along the Northern Busway until RBWH)
    Adelaide Street, Stop 19, outside City Hall
    Cultural Centre bus station, South Bank.

NOTE:

    Chermside and City buses will drop off and pick up at the northern end of the bridge
    Carindale and Eight Mile Plains buses will drop off and pick up at the southern end of the bridge
