Seniors and Pensioners - Free Travel Times Extended

The State Government has extended free off-peak travel for seniors, aged pensioners, disability support pensioners and carers to include 7pm to 6am every weekday. 

This means, from 1 July 2015, with a Seniors SmartRider or a Carer, Aged or Disability Support Pensioner SmartRider, you can travel free on any Transperth bus, train or ferry at the following times:

    Before 6am, Monday to Friday
    Between 9am and 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
    After 7pm, Monday to Friday
    All day Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

Concession fares apply at all other times.

Free off-peak travel is also available to passengers in towns with regional town bus services including Port Hedland, Broome, Carnarvon, Kalgoorlie, Geraldton, Bunbury, Busselton, and Albany.

Where's he getting his "information" from?  Scott Emerson?

Close to 6 million journeys in a year, and Gold Coast wide 20%+ public transport increase is not success?

Alas there is no feedback permitted on that article to challenge this.
