Overall much more rational use of services and modes this year.   8)

The Shorncliffe one is fairly pointless, but otherwise no issues.

Some sort of glitch on TL website has them stating that outbound services for the 680 are operating to a saturday/ekka timetable and inbound 680 services operating to normal weekday timetable....ive notified them of this and lets see if they even bother to fix it....
Because of the glitch...a 680 passenger who went by the journey planner this morning was left stranded for 35 mins at her stop.
Edit: multiple pax affected this morning..
Certainly hope the workers who have to catch the bus from northlakes this evening realise that thier last service leaves 5.15...not 7.47 as per current journey planner :thsdo

It won't happen. The way the Ekka holiday timetable changes are done is disappointing to say the least. Pax will definitely be left stranded at Chermside... and to think these people are paying peak-hour fares for the privilege!

It shall be fun paying peak fare to ride on an hourly bus service on Wednesday...
Is it really that hard to run frequent, reliable public transport?

I was on the train from FG to Sth Bris at 10:30 yesterday morning; Ekka crowds mean it was quite busy, particularly in the centre carriages. Front carriage was its usual near-deserted self.

Lots of family groups standing - presumably due to all the singletons sprinkled around.

Fares_Fair

There were no Rail Bus services running today between Caboolture and Nambour...  due to the Caboolture Show.

Anyone notice?  ;D

Hopped off the o/b 680 @ kallangur.asked lady across rd how long shes been waiting for her inbound..said 40 mins...hopped back onto her 680 bus back to petrie...and asked others on bus same question.... U guessed it..more affected..
Have rung translink a second time about this and they said it will be referred to the web-team.

Lots of EKx buses passing through RBWH busway today, all with less than 4 passengers.

STB

Every year we get a mish mash of timetables from normal weekday timetables through to Sunday/public holiday timetables, and peak hour fares added.  Surely a standard Saturday timetable (minus Nightlink services) would be enough with the off peak fares done all day?  :fp:
