State of origin game 1, 2014

Apologies If posted elsewhere, but why are there no extra trains scheduled after Origin tonight?

Last train for the Gold Coast leaves around 11pm.

Is this usual for origin? Or a cutback?

Also, I tried logging in to this site via on train wi-fi and surprise, surprise, access denied. What is their justification? I vaguely recall reading about this irony before.

There are extras for nearly all lines after the game:

5 to Ipswich (with one continuing to Rosewood)
4 to Caboolture
2 to Gold Coast
2 to Beenleigh
2 to Cleveland
1 to Ferny Grove
1 to Shorncliffe.

Not sure of the timings off-hand though.

Thanks Petey and STB, 1st 24 hours Foundation is running a sausage sizzle with QR approval at base of stairs from the Barracks. Some of the volunteers were hoping for later trains.

I can tell y'all now that the Ferny extra was scheduled to leave at 10:39 (actually left closer to 10:44).
