The bus layover bays are being built on the eastern side of Horton Parade.  The eastern side of Horton Parade is also the Southbound platform (towards Caloundra/Landsborough/Golden Beach)

Updates - November 16 2013 (9 days before supposed "opening" on November 25)

I don't like the chances of this being completed in time for the timetable changes.  Platforms may be ready, but I suspect the layover/driver facilities may not.  Gardening/Scenery may come a bit later. 

My tip - Platforms + Seats with temporary manual timetable signage operational.  The old bus station may be used as 'layover' bays until the whole project is complete.

Updates 23 November 2013 (Less than 48 hours before "opening" for operations).  The platforms are pretty much completed, only needs timetable and map information, along with rubbish bins and it's good to go. 

However, the layover bays doesn't seem to be complete in time, so my guess is that the "old" bus station bays will be used as the temporary layover bay for drivers until the layover bays at the new station is completed.

Incomplete layover bays.  However it seems the driver restroom facility is complete and good to go.
