Doesn't seem like much money for the experience they are asking for.

Hah!  I would get paid more for holding a camera and doing small production work at the ABC with much less equiv. experience and qualifications than what they are asking for.

No.

Even if you multiply by 1.25 it's still not good.

And who wants a part time professional job?

When I was working about 5 years ago, I was part time and yet I earned more than what they are asking for, and that was in the transport industry in a para-professional job, with less skills and qualifications needed!  I was also working one less day than what they are asking for as well!  No way would I apply for that position, unless I was desperate.  :-c

For what they are asking for in experience and Qual's, ie Engineering degree or Science with suitable experience its way to low on money even for 4 days per week. Also note its fixed term contract of 1 year, there should be like a 1mths completion bonus as a minimum. Also on fixed term contracts of short duration like this is common to limit AL and SL and what you don't use you also get paid out with bonus for not using.

Most likely contendor is semi retired or woman wanting to re-enter work place on reduced hours post baby.

Shane
