4 day poll
Which BUZ should go down the Ipswich Road corridor.
I've put up two options that seem to be the most popular, but have left an option for others or none at all.

Please post your reasons why/why not.

I'll side with Jonno's view as well- bus lanes/T2 would be good indeed!

Would a BUZ 100 service to Forest Lake compete with the Richlands line?

Jonno

No.  It would provide almost a cross-town link if it continued to Springfield

#Metro

Thanks. There seems to be pretty good support for 100 then.

Is it just me or does the 100 take some strange roads around Inala and Forest lake Shopping Centre.  It could me more direct.

#Metro

Yes it is a bit weird. Hopefully with Richlands opening , this whole area will be re-organised.

So is the 110 and 115.  They should just stick to the main roads.

This poll is a forgone conclusion!

It's really just the Akama Rd + Durella St bit which is weird, and also the lack of use of the Boggo Road busway's O'Keefe St portal.  The rest is OK.

Not sure how the 110 would reach Inala if it just stuck to Beaudesert Rd.  I do have an issue with the Elizabeth St/Mitchell St/Bellamy St bit.  I guess your plan would be that the 110 doesn't need to go to Inala Town Centre, but then where?  Sunnybank Hills shops seems to be the only fair answer.

The 115 should go, with the 130 taking over the Hellawell Rd service.

I think just extending to Richlands, with re-routing through the Forest Lake part is what is required for the 100.  The Corinda extension of the 101 & 102 could be abolished too, but replaced with an Oxley extension of the 104.

Jonno

It was the Elizabeth St/Mitchell St/Bellamy St bit i really meant.  It goes pretty direct through Inala.  I was really say "get rid if the wiggly routes that can only slow the route down".  I think all our bus routes need to be reviewed to make the more direct and stick to the major roads and thoroughfares.  This will make these major routes high frequency routes as 2-3 buses will run along the major roads.  Off topic so BUZ 100 with connection to Richlands.
