Integrated ticketing

Isn't it about time Sydney got integrated ticketing?  CDC buses have it, but it's only good on another CDC bus.  If you want to get on a train, it's just too bad.

I can only conclude that the politicians and public servants do not see the value in it, but it would help in the sense of:
No longer requiring CDC buses to serve Epping Rd at Lane Cove
Allowing Hills/Chatswood commutes on one ticket.  At the moment these are pretty attractive to drive.
No longer deviating the 374/376/391 into Central, which loses about 7 mins.
Ceasing the incentive to stay on the bus between Bondi Junction and the CBD
Getting to the Lower North Shore, including North Sydney from the Northern Beaches
Others I haven't thought of quite yet

One Fare.

Freedom on any mode, to anywhere.
