Please avoid playing the person and stick to the ball though ...

For example:

I post 'I like go gates because they are a positive affirmation of touching'

A reply  bad 'Ozbob, your taste in gates is sad, everyone knows the go gates are no good'

Reply good.  'I have found the go gates unsatisfactory because they are too slow'

Subtle difference but counter arguments with fact and your experience and your opinion.  Ignore individuals ..
