Ray Van Kuyk is our new Deputy Director-General TransLink. Ray joins us from Victoria and has formerly held significant transportation roles and provided oversight across a range of boards including Linking Melbourne Authority, VicTrack, Regional Rail Link Authority, Tulla-Sydney Alliance and Myki. Ray was also Deputy Secretary of the Department of Transport in Victoria.

Matt has always been decent to deal with an reasonably on top of things, so this should be a good step.

Yes, known Matt a long time.  I was a bit surprised though with the Airtrain stuff yesterday in attempting to justify the move from clock face for rail.  Correctly though, he did acknowledge that this broke the bus/rail connections.  Something denied by all and sundry till that point.

At least Matt does understand the issues locally well. Much much better Matt than another import, IMHO.
