Strathpine station upgrade.

Welcome news, though I reckon it would be less disruptive and better in the long term to relocate the station further north slightly, where the Westfield and Center link is, and away from the level crossing.

And knowing how QR plans things, there will be no provision for a fourth platform even though it would be as simple as making provision for a second platform face on the eastern side platform.

Who wants to bet no platform raising or straightening either?

$15 million is not an insignificant amount.  Although it is a long way off, this considerable investment should be made having regard to the eventual track configuration required for a Trout Road corridor rail line.

It is hardly surprising that they sold those centres off. I know from experience that North Rocks and Strathpine are smaller than one would expect from Westfield.
