I have recently purchased an internet radio (Kogan http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/bluetooth-retro-digital-radio-stylish-wood-grain-finish/ ).

These are really useful.   Instead of using a pc or other device the radio itself connects to your wifi network and the world is your oyster.  The radio also has FM  and DAB+.  Setup was easy and sound quality excellent.  Has sleep functions and heaps of other good things.

Very impressive.  I have been listening to 3AW on it, I could listen to virtually any radio station in the world (provided online).

Internet radios have an access code. This facilitates setting up favourite stations and podcasts.  This site http://www.wifiradio-frontier.com allows you to seamlessly add to the radio any one of many thousands of stations, locally and internationally.  You can do that on the radio itself but using a web interface very easy indeed.  Amazing stuff all of this.

Have my Sangean internet radio now.  Listening to 3AW as I type.

It seems that they all use the same software.  Setup etc. exactly the same as the Kogan, and all my favourites etc. easily done for the new radio via the web setup at Radio frontier.

Neat!!
